The Laojia Form is the 'Old Frame' of Chen Style Tai Chi. It is the original form, taught in the traditional way.
There are 74 movements in the form which flow together to create a dynamic routine that showcases the wide variety of techniques in the Chen syllabus.
We learn the form through repetition and refinement of the postures and transitions. Building on the learning from the foundations class, we incorporate slow silk reeling with explosive 'energy releases'
